This man-made reservoir with an area of 12 hectares is located in the heart of Dubai. Since 2009, the world's largest singing and dancing fountains have been operating here. The Dubai Fountains have 6,600 light sources, including 75 high-power color spotlights, providing a luminous flux of one and a half million lumens. The length of the main arc is 275 meters, and the main hydraulic cannon throws a stream of water to a height of 152 meters. Viewing the show from the shore of Downtown Dubai is absolutely free; if you want to take a closer look at this magnificence, you can rent a boat.

Dubai Downtown

The central district of the capital of the Arab Emirate, Dubai, is located in the north of the city. It has the shape of an almost regular rectangle with an area of about 2 square kilometers. Downtown Dubai is bounded by Al Saada Street from the northwest, Financial Center Road from the northeast, Al Asayel Street from the southeast, and Burj Khalifa Boulevard is its southwestern border.

The ever-growing commercial and residential complex that is Downtown is where all the «best» attractions are concentrated. This is where the famous opera and Dubai fountains, the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa skyscraper, and the world's largest shopping center are located.
